Back in 2019 I was given the brief to launch a new range of IT managed services into the global market by NTT HQ in Tokyo. The complete value proposition, messaging, imagery and content was devised by myself, in conjunction with local specialist agencies that I chose to support the project. I decided to leverage the Japanese heritage and based the branding on the concept of “origami”. Having defined the look and feel of the brand campaign, I launched it to the internal sales regions globally at a workshop. The heads of marketing attended from Australia, India, South Africa and across Europe (see image).
To amplify the successful launch campaign, we further leveraged video to spread our message. Firstly with an Origami style video on YouTube that had nearly 100,000 hits (unprecedented for a B2B IT services video) that drove web traffic up by 320%.
Followed by a news interview with the CEO of the division at the Reuters studio in London. Which was published in the Business Reporter section of the Telegraph. The video was scripted by me and pre-produced the final version with the production team.
